Mead

I brewed some mead about 6 or 7 months ago to have over Christmas. I’ve just got a bottle out the garage and opened it to test it tastes ok. Its right potent stuff. Initial taste, smell and looks is like white wine. But the after taste is more like Cognac. Makes me shudder but its warming.
