Custard
Tattershall Staff Weekend
We are in the Custard Pine Lodges again at Tattershall. I was up until about 3am this morning drinking lots of lager and eating lots of Crisps and Pizza and we got up about 9am this morning. We’ve been playing Giant Jenga on the decking, Limbo on the Beach and Rounders on the Golf Course. We started drinking again about 12pm to try and take the edge off of last nights woes. It’s working but it made rounders a bit tiring.
I’m just sat on our Decking on my macbook, I’m just about to have a Mince Stew before more games… mMmmm Stew!
VOIspeed and Custard Unite
VOIspeed offers the quality and functionality of corporate communications with the flexibility and cost efficiencies of IP telephony.
Custard are now VOIspeed’s Gold reseller for the Midlands. We have been using the phone system ourselves for a number of years now and wouldn’t use anything else. VOIspeed have recognized our knowledge and capability in providing and supporting their phone systems to companies who may of used Avaya, Siemens or other Telephone Equiptment in their office.
We really like the way that the VOIspeed phone system handles Voip communication and how it can function using a normal ADSL line without any problems.
You may have seen Custard and VOIspeed together at the New Business Live Exhibition.
Lodges, Lodges, Lodges
Well, it’s new year eve. Christmas was a good one, I ended up with 4 different Christmas days (including the actual one). I got some great presents. I got a few different aftershaves, some Jean Paul Gaultier which is what I was wearing for 2008. I 4 different ted baker samplers and they all smell nice. I also got some Ferrari aftershave which smells really nice, it goes nicely with the Ferrari day Sarah has bought me.
When Sarah got back from the Canary Islands she presented me with some nice Bench tshirts aswell and her Mum and Dad bought me a nice wallet for looking after the Cat and Lizards while they where away. It was a pleasure really because it got me out the house for an hour each day (good excuse for a breather on Christmas day and Boxing Day)
I went to the lodges the saturday before christmas and won lots of Top prizes which Chris and Mark had bought for the Custard Christmas Bash. I am off there again today to spend Christmas eve there and I’m dressing up as a Cowboy. Chris and Mark will be there also so should be a good laugh as usual. This will be the 4th time I’ve been to the Lodges at Tattershall in the last 2 months which is really great because I always enjoy them.
Sarah feels spoilt because she’s been able to come with me 3 of the 4 times. The only reason she couldn’t come on Saturday was because she flew abroad for Christmas.
I’m looking forward tonight and we’ve been allowed to leave earlier but I’ve forwarded the phone lines to both mine and Leigh’s mobiles and I’ll be keeping an eye on any technical issues which come in this afternoon so all is covered but everybody else gets some time off and I get to go home.
The Dave Chronicles
I’ve just stolen the photos Dave took, from the Custard Pine Lodges, off of his Facebook. Here are a few selections with descriptions.

Custard Pine Lodges
It’s that time of year again when Custard Staff go to the Pine Lodges at Tattershall lakes for a weekend courtesy of the Management.
Me and Dave went there, not too bad a drive, and we got to our Lodge about 8pm on Friday night. We filled the fridge with our 30 cans of carling, took a few with and made our way to Mark and Chris’ lodge. The drinking commenced as did the banter. I’m not sure where the beer was coming from as we didn’t go back to our lodge much (oh yes, it was that big water filled box of generousity on the floor).
A late night for a few of us but we had some great laughs.
We didn’t get up too late on Saturday and spent about an hour feeding the ducks. It was only so addictive because they were cheaky, tame ducks who jump up and take the bread from your hands.
Hypothetically speaking, drunken ducks are funny to watch. Also hypothetically speaking on that same note, if you were to get a duck drunk, you’d use Vodka and Bread and you’d probably want to single one duck out for a more concentrated effect.
Saturday night we had a BBQ at Chris and Mark’s. It was another great night with a bit of Sailing, well, drifting thrown in there.

In the Middle of the Lake!
Dave getting comfortable, stranded.

Mostly everybody outside the lodge (minus some children)

Leigh telling me it’s a quorn burger.
So it was another late evening with plenty more laughs and a weekend with plenty of quotes to remember.
“There isn’t a sign which says, don’t feed the ducks and their isn’t a sign which says don’t spit on ducks”
“Is the rope tied up?” – Yes The Rope’s Tied up… “Good stuff” **5 seconds later** “Where’s the rope?” – What rope?
“Rob! Robert!!! Don’t come back without the Donut!”
“Oh, you’ve turned GPS on, on your N95, do you want me to go fetch a charger for you?”
“This tudor guy is great! He said something along the lines of – “When One’s Wife is… with Child, I see fit that One should Lay with another Woman” – Brilliant programme!”
Welcome
